| Porcupine_I said: The Last of Us had better writing, it didn't depend on holding back vital information concerning the plot and still was able to keep you interested in the story. They didn't make it a mystery who Ellie was and why she was important and you could very well guess what would happen once they get there. Bioshock Infinite took the easy route by not telling you much until they crammed all the information they held back into the last 10 minutes. |
^Exactly, Bioshock didn't tell you many important details until the end of game where they just threw everything at you at the same time, leaving me surprised and confused at the same time until I looked up the multiple timelines that were going on in the game on the internet, and even after I understood I didn't care much because I didn't care about most of the characters anyways.
Last of Us on the other hand gave me more than I could ask for in an ending, the climax was saving Ellie; I didn't expect them to go farther after that. However, I am glad they did as the final exchange between them was extremely good. A lot of people expect a hapilly ever after disney movie ending, but I don't see why they expect that when seeing the rest of the things that happened in the game. I thought the game ended perfectly and I wouldn't mind if the story is continued or not.
