Lots of positivity in this thread, I like it. Still I can't say this will be an amazing year for Wii U just yet, but I hope a new Direct can show more games. The Wii U needs these big hitters and it needs them yesterday.
All negativity aside, I really look forward to Smash and Donkey Kong (only a few weeks left for that!) but I'm concerned for MK. MK7 was a little letdown for me, no single player VS mode (we have to race the courses in a cup together with courses we may hate!) and still not the balloon battle mode like in MKDS. They should include that, maybe as an option like Classic Balloon Battle or something like that. If they can say they will include that, it will definitely get a few extra hundred hours of play time in my house.
