This is sort of an odd question considering that within a given nation or region the prices for homes vary greatly for similar accommodations.
You won't be able to tell if you're getting ripped off as it is only comparable to your local area.
For instance my same home in an expensive state like CA (I'm not in CA) is 2x~3x the cost I paid.
But to answer the title question, I paid $250k for a 2000ftsq - 4bed - 2.5ba - on a large corner lot in a subdivision.
