I was referring to the floating monster things that appear to be attacking the humans in the trailer. You could paraphrase what I wrote as "foreign monster attack". I suspect from the trailer that the city has some sort of power that keeps the monsters away, but as it declines from 100% to 0% the monsters can then attack. The people live in fear and the hero must at first find special stuff to recharge the defense, but later go on a globe-trotting quest to find and stop the source of all these problems. I suspect a good amount of religious and philosophical revelations along the way. On that note we could call it: Xenoquest. |

And that's actually a very astute analysis of the possible narrative. If that's what it turns out to be, then I'd be pretty satisfied... As long as it still has a very strong focus on the characters.
