Just keep doing what they are doing.
Take a risk with new hardware when they decide to change and continue to make great games like always.
So many outsiders think Nintendo is doomed because of no 3rd party. I say the opposite. Nintendo has horrible third party and that has been like that for a long long time, but they still put out insane numbers and make good money. This is what their first loss in how many years. And it wasn't that much of a loss. If the industry has a crash which is predicted about as often as a Nintendo doom thread is posted then Nintendo would be the least affected. They are basically 100% independent of the industry. They are reliant on other companies like PS and Xbox are. We hear it seems monthly of some gaming company being shut down or bankrupt. These are affecting PS and XBOX, not the Nintendo systems, because they weren't getting games from those companies anyway.
It's like there are three Gaming industries. Nintendo, mobile/tablet and PS/Xbox
EA going belly up or Square Enix, ect doesn't affect Nintendo. Angry Birds and so on going belly up doesn't affect Nintendo. Basically the only thing that affects Nintendo is if Consumers stop buying Nintendo games.
Now when i say affect I don't mean Nintendo comes out unscathed in any of these scenerios. Any company that makes even one crap game on Nintendo system leaving hurts them and a crash would hurt them too, but I believe it would affect them the LEAST out of the entirity of the gaming division.
Nintendo is not reliant on these BIG BLOCKBUSTER games. The only real blockbusters that are on the Nintendo system are their own games. The rest either don't come to Nintendo's system and/or sell table scraps compared to other systems. So if a blockbuster system goes down for whatever reason Nintendo will hardly notice compared to how much it would hurt PS/BOx.
Is it effect or affect? Never got those two straight.
