The catch is maybe they spend vast amounts of money creating a new dev team only to get little in return back
For example ms buying rare which they have yet to get back financially which is probably why rare hasn't made shit other than kinect crap

Isn't that because Microsoft doesn't allow RARE to have creative rights? Nintendo is somewhat more open. Wasn't it Retro than wanted to make Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze?
