Honestly it's off topic but there's not much Sony/Ms can do, their hardware is out and cant/shouldn't be anbandoned. So my quick thoughts:
MS: stay the course with $500+Kinect (reduce to 399 ASAP). IF in 1-2 years sales are shown to consistently lag PS4, then make a Kinectless SKU for $100 less than PS4. Focus on great 1st party software, and making the weaker hardware sing anyway they can (focus on reducing OS reserves).
Sony: Focus on the OS/UI/Online. Have to catch up to MS in that area. The hardware is good. Make a better controller (imo Xbox controller design is way better).
