Other pokes like bulky Rock Helmet Garchomp, Mandibuzz, Bisharp, Diggersby, Rotom-H, Zygarde, and Mega Aggron shit all over Aegislash.

Lots of pokes are great but nearly everyone has a counter.

Skarmory? Rotom? lol, if Aegislash has already gotten off a Swords Dance (which it has if you're switching in), they're already dead. Skarmory doesn't resist Shadow Sneak anymore. 150 base attack doubled from buffs with STAB.

+6 Life Orb Shadow Sneak doesn't OHKO Skarmory, you are better off using Sacred Sword anyhow.

This is why I don't fear switching immediately into Skarmory and phazing with Whirlwind.  Same with switching and burning with Rotom-W.

No competant player is going to let you get +6 on Aegislash.

Aegislash is high usage more cause people are using Mixed / Special Aegislash more often now, which in my opinion is superior to Swords Dance sets.
