| Akkelund said: Hey wtf man? My work is nearly done and I've done everything by myself. Iäm not asking anyone to do my work for me, I just asked if someone knew something I should mention. Of course I'll look it up and se what it is all about. If I didn't want to do any work at all, I'd just go to Wikipedia and talk about everything I would find there.
EDIT: So, in case you don't understand what I mean: I don't want you to do my work for me. My work is about Nintendo and their history. I going to talk about what Nintendo was doing before they entered the video game industry, their success and also some stuff about the "fall" of Nintendo, and then the huge success with the Wii. I'm going to talk about how a lot of people think Nintendo is "kiddy", I'm going to talk how they support hradcore players as well as casual players. I'm going to talk about a lot of things, I just thought I'd ask for something that someone here thinks should be in my presentation.

If your work is done then perhaps it would be a good idea to tell people what if have already done if you have in fact done anything so we're not repeating ourselves.
And the wiki would probably be a better place to start for some random report than to talk to random forum people that you are not a part of. It's true you can't always trust the wiki but why should you trust random forum goers that you don't know?
If all you want to know is their history simply try doing a google search and *reading*. It's pretty easy.

If he would have supplied what work he'd done, even just a summary, perhaps I wouldn't have been mean.
And as for him being new, I'm a lot more willing to help someone that's an actual member of the forum rather than some random person that I've never seen. I say this because a lot of people do come to forums expecting to get their work done and it's just stupid. If you want people to put forth the effort to help you, you have to actually put forth some effort too.
Coming onto the forum and saying something "lol I have to do a Nintendo report and I don't know why hlp plz" gets zero respect from me. Actually taking the time to get to know the people on the forum and then asking for help gets a little more respect from me. Actually showing that you have put any kind of effort into the project gets even more respect.
