I suggested something similar in a different thread: make a Nintablet that can function as the gamepad for Wii U, make a Wii U sku WITHOUT the gamepad for $200, so that you can use the Nintablet instead. If they made a phone, would they create one themselves, or would they team up with someone? And who would that be? I won't lie, a NinSony phone with games from them both would be pretty cool.... IF the phone has buttons. |
I'm not really thinking about Wii U... I'm thinking about a new series of products. I don't think you can seperate Wii U and the Gamepad successfully. But a new system, sold as a hub with lots of processing power that could be used alone but enhanced with a Nablet and nPhone could work well.
As far as the nPhone, I think they would need a partnership with a proven phone provider of some kind for the phone aspects. Samsung or LG or whoever. The actual phone aspects are really pretty standard nowadays. The Nablet they could probably do on their own using Android. Some partners would really help, just focus on making the product look unique and get lots of cool software to support it.
