I'm not saying the gimicks are useful (trying to play Flower with the sixaxis is painful) but they aren't harmful. I have never had a problem with the batteries. For me, the rest of the controller began to tire before the batteries. I did admittedly have 4 different primary PS3 controllers since launch, but they all still work fine, they're just a little tired

Yeah. Flower was really painful to play. Especially when you went to other creatures that seemed to get you life because of the mistake of six axis. I also remember in heavy rain six axix was a pain. And uncharted 1.

I have around 5/6 controllers (including nyko raven which was awesome). Now I am looking for Power A Fusion Tournament Controller for PS3.

I quite liked the fact that Heavy Rain was something of a pain to play... it seemed appropriate even though probably not intentional. I actually thought Uncharted 1's grenade aiming worked surprisingly well, it was the log balancing that got to me, but you should be grateful that was all given all the nonsense in Uncharted Golden Abyss

Well I have 7! I've never bought a 3rd party controller, my brother did have a 3rd party wireless PS2 controller, but I've always felt that my hands were shaped to hold DualShock controllers so haven't looked elsewhere
