PSV sold only ~90k (USA-December2013) - Where is the PS4 effect?

It already had its second holiday season in the USA and will be 3 years old by the end of the year in Japan. In 2-3 years we´ll likely already have first informations about atleast one next gen handheld. So it´s really getting late considering 3ds is roughly a year older which could likely mean we are already in the middle of the handheld generation and the next gen handheld system not many years away.

What I meant was that give it time to see if there is a PS4 effect, or if the Vita TV will do anything for the platform in the West =)
