It's a good result for Xbox.
Mostly it (overall good showing in USA) means Xbox cant be ignored by third parties and is in no danger.

An absolute FACT can not be called SPIN....If you are the leader in USA lifetime (8th gen), this is a fact, the same fact as Xbox One being the best 8th gen selling console in December in USA.
To say PS4 is leading worldwide, besides being a fact too, is just a manner to reflect what really matters.
I can admit, that supply constraint can be considered an excuse and Sony's fault.
For me, the real spin, is to consider a slight victory in a month for Xbox One over PS4 as some kind of victory, what a phyrric victory then....
This doesn't change the fact that those numbers Xbox One achieved are great and Microsoft can be satisfied with them.
