Hm, you know what, I'v never really thought about it, but a Gamepad redesign might actually be a good idea. Smaller, thinner, sleeker, more in line with today's tablets. It will likely end up being less comfortable to hold for actual gaming, but it might just make it look a whole lot more attractive and less intimidating.

The Gamepad's a huge contributor to Wii U's pricepoint, so if Nintendo could pull of a redesign like that, which also saves them money, obviously they ought to go for it. Same goes for the Wii U console itself, though that's already pretty sleek as it is, and I doubt they'd redesign it anytime soon. The Gamepad though... I could actually see them do this; just look at how many revisions their handhelds go through! Time will tell.
