Yes the goal is official. Hey, Sony fans main goal was to take second, and it only took 7 years to do it right? Soooo we kinda have higher standards by comparison. I estimate 2 years, tops.

Sony didn't want to be second with the PS3 just like Microsoft didn't want to be second with the XBO. Sony lost with the PS3, just like MS is losing with the XBO. Spin it all you want there is no way Microsoft wanted to be anything but first place this gen.
