Do You Prefer Action RPG's or Turn Based RPG's?

Turn based RPGs all the way. However I like when they mix it up a bit. FFXIII, Resonance of Fate, Valkyrie Profile 2, Valkyria Chrinicles all have completely different turn based play but are still highly strategic and engaging.

Also I like grinding and random encounters and the fact that you can practically click away unwanted battles. In action RPGs you need your entire concentration for every battle which makes grinding or even progressing through weaker enemies a chore.

God forbid you need to stay focus during any fight. Lordy lordy lord.

If you fight hundreds of battles each of which lasts only a few seconds but you still need to keep up your skill and concentration and all that for minimal gain, Yes that is a chore and nowhere near fun. That's like working on a conveyor belt.
