News broke last week that Next Level Games said they are only going to work with
Nintendo in foreseeable future. However, now it is official, as Next Level Games has signed an exclusive deal with Nintendo to make games. This gives Nintendo another fantastic studio to work with. Next Level Games co-founder Jason Carr briefly discussed the deal with Gamasutra.
“We have worked with a lot of other companies before, and we’re super happy with our relationship with Nintendo.There’s no reason to look anywhere else. They keep giving us better and better IP to work with, and as long as we do our job and make good games for them there’s no reason for us to venture out.”
nice! Nintendo needs to work with more 3rd parties and test them out and then makem 2nd party! Platinum games next maybe?
