Is this a surprise to anyone? All consoles are doing it more and more, since the PS2 was also a DVD player. Xbox was also a DVD and media (music) player.
PS3 has blu-ray, streaming and other stuff. WiiU has TVii, etc.
It's like all smart phones are also watches, cameras, video recorders, wallets, etc. We are moving to fewer devices, but those devices will do many things.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned. Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon! |
