I think it's an interesting discussion especially since the iPhone seems to fall someplace between a DS and a PSP in power but with a touch screen comparable to a DS. I think it would be perfect for certain genres of games and it'll be interesting to see what third parties do on it.
Also if the iPhone takes off like the iPod it could lead to a serious contender in handheld gaming.
