Kojima's a name brand in and of himself these days. The only video game director anywhere close is Fumito Ueda, and he makes games at a trickle. Make MGS5 the last Metal Gear game (really, it should have ended with 4, if not earlier) and tell Kojima to make a different series and Konami has instant relevance.
Bonus points for telling Kojima to integrate stuff into gameplay and to be a bit more...concise. The chance for that to happen with MGS is about 3 games past.
