How would a Nintendo FPS be like?

Metroid Prime was classic Metroid formula in first person.  Not a shooter with stuff added.

I know that's the approach they took when they designed it, obviously.  I'm just saying that on paper you've got all these elements, and it's a shooter at heart.  Sort of like how you can claim a band is "post-neo grindcore" or whatever the hell, but at the end of the day it's still rock.
