I got INTP and read the individual meaning for the letters and explanation for the personality type and it is surpringsly accurate. I am pretty quiet and reserved but with friends or family, i am chatty and gitty as fuck. I'm also pretty eccentric and really like looking for "freedom" or just something that liberates me from the mundane activities of the world. It might explain my love for RPGs, where I am giving the free (or at least tricked into it) to find my own path even if it leads to the same destination.
I am however, more open and perceptive to other's feelings, in other words emphatic. Rarely do I find myself being extremely rational in conversation just for the sake of it or to be right. It seems INTPs are the opposite of this but OP has a point, personalities can be a fluctuating, "state of mind" if you will. They are easily interchangeable for some depending on the situation.
