Maybe the OP is right in every point he makes, and in a hundred years nobody is going to remember the name "Nintendo" (or maybe not I don't know), but what I know is that for many of us gamers, it matters that our first aproach to videogames, to high quality gaming entertainment came through Nintendo Systems.
So in my case I always tendo to lean towards Nintendo due to the good old memories and more recent ones.
