Some system features to look forward to:
-The controller can control your TV, Cable/Satellite box, too.
-TVii (in the US, at least) lets you chat with people while watching your favorite shows. It even gives you stats, trivia, play by play, polls, etc. It's fun with the right crowd.
-Web browser is super fast and intuitive and full featured. Virtually no compromises. You can browse while pausing your game, too. Great if you need youtube to help younwith that tricky level or something.
-You can watch a youtube video on TV while continuing to browse on the pad
-Online is still free. Not up to PSN or XBL standards but if you just want someone to play with, it gets the job done.
-Miiverse is awesome. Imagine Twitter for video gamers. Lots of kids there, though. Behave yourself! You can post pics of your gaming Achievements.
-Off TV play so you can play your game while watching TV or whatever. Hell, you won't even need a TV most of the time unless it's something like Nintendo Land.
-Netflix works off screen too and is probably the best Netflix app I've experienced. Better than PS3, X360 (with Kinect), Vita, 3DS, PC, Android, and my TV's stand alone Netflix app, at least. It's had issues before, though. There was a whole week where it didn't work at all.
