If you don't have a sex life and don't masturbate, how can you actually do it over a certain age without going berserk? You have to give your sex drive some kind of outlet. If you don't do it while awake your brain will do it when you can't impose your will. You will have wet dreams, which is basically masturbation in your sleep. Now is that sinful too?

To answer bold, I don't think so, as long as it's not forced (I've had natural wet dream, and some I was able to induce. I know which are healthy personally).

As for the first part, really I've been more sexually fulfilled in the periods of my life where I was not masturbating, because during the periods where I was, I felt more like a zombie, and my excitement over things faded. I think if you want to see what I mean, try abstaining for a month and being surrounded by good people (which usually happens less when I'm in zombie mode because I become more anti-social).

If you try it for yourself, I think you might see what I mean.

Can't say I haven't tried, but I disagree. If you use abstinence as a stimulant, then I guess fine, but try drinking coffee instead.

I always feel more in my element after a good erotic fantasy combined with self-pleasuring. It's what your body wants to do regardless whether you want to or not. I think of it like providing a service to your mind, body and soul and getting rid of pent up demand which gives you better concentration in future endavors, which just might be trying to win over a girl by keeping it cool. Otherwise you might, you know, wank with your mouth. ;)
