Yeah, it kind of is the point.

Regardless, I was just pointing out that they recently lost a patent case, which kind of makes that PR statement amusing.  I'm not nearly as emotionally invested in this as you are and I'm not going to argue with you about whether they really lost or not.

So, If I'm correctly understanding your vision, you're just here to say that Nintendo is copying, even though other valid arguments are on the table.

Talk about emotional investment...

What are you talking about?  Officially, it was just ruled that they knowingly used technology patented by someone else.  Period, end of story, like it or not.  I really, honestly do no care if this upsets or bothers you.  It is a fact.  It is a part of their history even if you wish otherwise.

Was it the right verdict?  I don't know and neither do you.  The details of the complaint haven't been released and no one in this thread seems to be a patent lawyer.  All I was doing was making light of a PR statement.  Frankly, I'm a bit sick of people acting like I just stabbed their cat.  I simply poked fun at a multi-billion dollar corporation's choice of words.  Anyone who genuinely gets angry over that needs to go find their happy place and deal with it.  Nintendo's feelings will be fine, I promise you.

Who's angry? I'm just pointing out your inconsistency. If you have some issue against opinions differing from yours, I don't think that a forum is the best place for you to be.

And again, nothing is absolute until the end of the lawsuit and all appeals are over. So, "making fun" of a company for an unfinished lawsuit is kind of stupid, specially when you prove that you don't wanna change your opinion.

Dunno what to display here, soon I'll know what to put.
