That console looks very interesting, but we know very little of it still. The price will most likely be aimed at around 100 €/$, like the English article says. But in Chinese media they also claim that the console will be able to play PS3, PC and NDS games, re-released for it. Probably ports or something, but still it sounds strange to me.
Also they have told nothing yet about the price of the games, this is the most important question. They know that if they have too high prices people will lose interest instantly, and if they prices are middle, it might work. But if the prices are very cheap it could sell very well.
Another question is which market they really are targeting, the western market + Japan, or China? To me it is still not clear.
Most Chinese people feel so-so about this console. Some like it and some don't like it.
A cheap Steambox sounds nice in itself, but I think that many people here already have tried it out, just download the SteamOS. But I have not heard much about it yet.
