It's never cool to blow your friends off for a girl (or boy).  It seems kinda desperate and unkind to your friends. :(

Espically as you really do not know this person. Most LDR do not work, but hey, my friend met his husband that way and they have been married for 6 years now.  Pretty happy too.

But hey, I do hope it works out well for you.  But if it doesn't, remember my words.  Sometimes, you get what you deserve.
