Not any time soon. But just from an economic/cultural aspect it could easily become the biggest market.
I don't think Nintendo or Sony will struggle much because they're Japanese unless the government puts some rules in place that will hinder those consoles.
A lot of Chinese like Japanese culture so they will happily play Japanese games.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
