| Dodece said: @itsaMii That would be technically impossible. Halo 3 sold near to three million units during its truncated first week. Read the first post only two million copies of the game are available for purchase. Even so I would find it doubtful it could match those kind of sales. Even so those are some good sales, but I do think its too early to gloat. Nintendo fans haven't had any first party offering for around four months. Their console hasn't had any mega hit games in that time. So the first week sales should be wonderful regardless. The most important sales figure in North America is whether the title can get over three million in domestic sales, and following the law of halves that might take a few months. Basically beyond three million and the title is proving a point. Thats when a title begins to prove it has appeal beyond the hardcore fanatics. So that is what is most interesting. The only title to really do that on the platform was Galaxy. Everything else has stalled out under three million in spite of the growing user base. |
if it follows the law of halves it will be 3.2 after 2 weeks milion after 3 weeks and 5 million after 5 weeks.
Brawl will be lucky to sell 500k week 2, then 300k week 3.
