1. If nay video game company suddenly died, gaming would still exist. You would need the simultanous dissappearance of Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft to accomplish this, and even then, Mobile gaming would exist.
Nintendo won't die because Nintendo and Sony control legacy gaming. Even if their new games were all to be crap, there have been excellent Mario Karts/Zeldas, enough for the name alone to keep them alive. Plus any real gamer will always have some NES-WiiU era games.
2. Nintendo is by far, the most innovative.
3. This is slowly changing. Nintendo did publish Resident Evil 4, and Eternal Darkness among others. Now on WiiU we're going to see Bayonetta 2 (with a more Milf-like character), and X could also be an M rated game too.
