Metallicube said: Yes and no. My gaming of choice has always been Nintendo, though I am often very critical of them (especially as of late), and I still probably game on PC and Xbox 360 far more than Nintendo consoles. I guess you can say I'm more of a retro Nintendo fanboy but still enjoy some of their modern stuff. Saying "most don't" love Nintendo games is a pretty bold statement considering they're probably the most successful gaming company of all time, have been around the longest of the big three, and have also made the most money of games than any company. They are also coming off the phenomenon that was the Wii, which was home to several of the most popular games of all time. I'm not trying to force any agenda here. If anything, the creator of this topic seems to be the one forcing the agenda. I'm merely saying this topic is absolutely pointless from a practical standpoint and simply exists to ignite flame wars. |
Saying they are the most successful gaming company of all time is a really bold statement seeing how 3 Sonys consoles out sold 5 Ninty ones by 80 million. If you average it all out, Sonys platforms have out sold Ninty ones.
The statemants applies to handheld but not consoles, and wii by the defenition of the word was no phenomenon, fad describes it much better. Given ninty dropped waggle from its succesor seems to strengthen that.
Most everything on any forum is absolutely pointless from a practical standpoint.
