For me, everything takes a back seat to fun. Maturity in games is like CGI in movies; it can be a good addition, but also a drawback, and isn't always necessary.

"Fun" is a term that has really been hijacked by the ninty crowd.  Fun = enjoyment so pretty much any game is fun noone would be playing it. As such, all games that have seen a release are probably fun to someone. It's not a ninty-exclusive like some of you seem to infer.

But no other developer makes games that are as much fun for me as Nintendo's.

Fun for you =/= fun for everyone else. You should have been specific in your original post. I was playing KZ2 yesterday with some buddies and laughing as some crazy stuff that was happening. Was I not having fun because KZ2 is a mature game? Yet, I dont see the fun in jumping on ducks and mushrooms while running from left to right...I must be crazy.

I hardly need to write "imo" after every post. If I'm writing it, obviously its my opinion, unless stated otherwise. You misintrepreted.
