Comparative years are meaningless now that a new gen has arrived. You can't meaningfully compare X360 2012 sales and PS3 2013 sales because the console landscape is vastly different. That is, do you think Xbox 360's year 8 would be anywhere near 11 million if Xb one had released that year? Not a chance. Probably would have been very close to PS3's year 8. You can pick the comparison back up for the Xbox 360 2014 and PS3 2015 years, because by that time PS4 and Xb one will have been on the market for >1 year and the drivers for last gen sales will be roughly the same. So that's basically year 11, and I think your extrapolation for year 11 is so uncertain that the margin for error is greater than the difference you are predicting between the consoles.
Also for the opening week of 2014 the decline for PS3 is only 38% vs the same week in 2013. Whereas for Xbox360 it is exactly the 50% drop you're predicting for annual decline...spooky) So PS3 50% annual drop might ba a bit steep.
