Very hard to believe that figure.

The console is owned by more than 100 million persons, even if only 5% of them are still active users, that would be 5 million games on december, more than 1 million per week.

I have a hard time believe 5% of the userbase bought a game this Dec given there is literally no software for it this holiday (or year) except Just Dance, which is down significantly.

According to VGC ≈ 11 million Wii games were sold in December (plus ≈ 11 million 3DS games, ≈ 6 million DS games and ≈ 5 million Wii U games).
