But that is how it should be as that's how they intended it be and thus how it was made to be! In DW games you generally play as a strong high ranking guy, so low ranking peasants should be nothing more than fodder to you. That's why many people love the series, the ability to just mow down hoardes of enemys is just pure fun! Most of the difficulty comes from fighting enemy officers, completing objectives, and keeping your allys alive, and of course there is always a difficulty setting.
