Ocarina of time was a groundbreaking at the time, but quite frankly, it doesn't hold up nearly as well as the older games. Just like Mario 64 released, people raved on about it. But in reality, the game was never in the league as the NES/SNES titles.
Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World and LttP are much better games than Ocarina of Time.

Those are your personal opinions, the general consensus among gamers is that OOT is the best game of all time. The question is whether this general consensus will ever change, I personally doubt it but anything is possible.

Well yeah, obviously.
People still regard Final Fantasy VII to be the best JRPG ever. So I wouldn't take that consensus (metacritic?) too seriously. But nostalgia.. its one hell of a drug.
