What if Microsoft had unveiled Xbox One as a service instead of a console. You basically could play Xbox One games on many different devices and it required an internet connection and a subscription. You would not have any kind of ownership rights for games but instead would completely lose access to them if your subscription lapsed. What would your reaction to that have been?

If I did not have the option then it would have been negative, the same as if PlayStation Now was announced instead of the PlayStation 4.  Choice is everything.

The thing is you would have had a choice.  You could choose to go with a PS4 or WiiU instead.
