Some of the paranormal stuff was a bit silly, but the actors responded great to what was happening and the sound effects did a good job at making it look scary. The suspense was the real star, thanks to great pacing.

For how great it all looked it still used the annoying sudden loud noises gimmick far too often for my liking.


Maybe you had to have seen it in theaters. I jumped a few times. But those tricks always get me. You wait for  something then it happens when you are not expecting.

I liked it. But was nothing great like everyone says it was. Just another horror movie with ghosts and Demon Possession.

 

You all are going to be amazed! 99 cents a movie at my closing Blockbuster! I bought well over 100 movies! Just the most random bunch of anything that interested me. I was so happy! Bunch of TV series as well. Usually I list all my movies purchased, but it was too many, plus the :3 ten vhs I bought last night.....

 

so amazing! I love movie store closing sales! Last 3 days of it! Every B movie in the past year more or less.

You're a vulture! I missed the closing of our Blockbuster. I went to a final closing sale of another store and they were still selling stuff for $10 and up...

The last time I jumped was Jurrasic park 2. Velociraptors breaking into the shed, last time the 'character looks one way, suddenly something jumps out when they look back the other way' trick worked. My wife managed to make me jump twice in 11 years, she hates it I can always get her so easily :) She refused to watch this movie.
