VGC was never about the shipped figures. It was about the retail sales figures. That's the point...

Yes I know.  When Sony's financial shipments switched from production shipments to retail shipments they stopped breaking it down by region.  Even when they were releasing production shipments it was North America not US.  So VGC being closer to NPD than shipments or production shipments to a different set of locations isn't really relevant.


Other than the fact that shipments shouldn't be taken as gospel in regards to retail sales, like many were doing in 2007. Hence my original question.
