You aren't the only one who took a double take. (Although, the second time I tried Skyward Sword, the controls were better.)

And so it seems Skyward Sword isn't as big of a pile as some people have lead us to believe.

Skyward Sword is a great game in almost every area, but really, controls are bad. Very bad. And the fact that Nintendo themselves said that motion controls are the rule now for Zelda games, it makes me even more sad.

Motion controls are going to be optional for Zelda U. Aonuma said it himself. He also said Zelda U is going to use the GamePad to its full  potential.

That's a huge relief xD
