I constantly see people claiming Wii is supply contraint in US, Wii is supply constraint in Japan, Wii is supply constraint in EU/Others. Everytime it is outsold anywhere, I always see this same excuse.

Last I checked Nintendo claimed they were shipping out 1.8 million consoles a month, yet I do not even think they sell 1.8 million a month, so how can they ALWAYS be supply constraint all over the World? Wouldn't it mean that somewhere in the the World it is not supply constraint? According to EU/Other residents, it can be found in almost all Major retailers, yet Americans try to tell them they are wrong, yet live NOWHERE in their area. I even saw a guy here from Jersey saying it must be supply constraint because his friends can not find one... yet last time I checked, the US and EU/Others are 2 entirely different places.

Someone please explain because I am getting confused with these nonstop excuses. Hell, if I am wrong and someone can PROVE that it is impossible to find, I will accept that, no problem, but I just do not see it.

How many consoles have been sold per month on average WW for the Wii? 1.8M or even close?
