so, here we are in mid march and nintendo has continued to keep mum on it's fall 08 line up. in the US, we just got brawl and kart scheduled to see a release in april (still doubting that) and fit in may.
and then.... ?
there are two big events left for nintendo this year, e3 (july) and tgs (september). what games do you feel will be announced at or before these events, what games will actually see an 08 release, and what games do you see as real system sellers (as opposed to just good games.... ie: re:4 wii = great game, mario galaxy= system seller)?
i think mario party 9, kid icarus, and pikmin have the best chance of seeing an 08 release.
i think star fox and f-zero will remain on the shelf for a while longer (possibly a great deal of time).
animal crossing won't make an 08 release, unless nintendo really half-asses it in terms of creating an online community.
zelda may be announced but will definitely not make an 08 release.
hopefully at least one brand new original IP will get announced.
i personally don't know if i would consider any of the above titles system sellers. then again, it may not really matter with wii sports still grabbing people's attention and the wii selling out everywhere.
