Agreed. It's just so obvious and completely ridiculous. This why the $100 more  expensive PS3 has sold less than the 360....  Oh wait.

But that is the reason why Wii outsold Xbox 360 you see.

Basic economies tell us jack shit. If basic economies hold true then Gamecube should've outsold the PS2. iPhone 5S which cost 700 euro would get outsold by a 600 euro Android smartphone.
