I have seen so many people the last two years act like China is this vast market that they assume Sony will dominate, so i thought this was interesting, that Sony does not even have any plans to enter China:

“The Chinese market has a lot of potential and we would consider selling our consoles if opportunities came up, but there are no concrete plans we can discuss right now,” said a Sony spokesman Wednesday.

Even though the ban has been suspended, console makers would have to go through a series of negotiations and a long bureaucratic process to get the permission to sell their products. The government hasn’t set a timetable for how long this process will be, and it’s still unclear what kinds of conditions and requirements foreign companies will have to meet to enter the Chinese market.
