I'm not sure really if its legal to make ads like that or not anymore, however it is illegal to false advertize to consumers and people over it all the time. I think Sega was trying to differentiate themsleves from Nintendo who at the time and I suppose still does have the "for kids image" , so Sega thought lets put a mature image on and see if we can compete that way and it worked somewhat. I'm going to have go see if I can some examples commericals like from today if there still legal that is. Thanks posting the link for the ad and it was great to see again ;).
