I don't know much about the japanese market, although I do invest in stocks in my country.
Generally, when stocks rise without a clear reason, it is because the company made money, and some insiders filtered the information.
Nintendo being decently profitable again would be very good news. They did have Pokemon and an ok december for wii u and its software.
