If Nintendo releases a cheaper Wii U SKU, will it help boost sales significantly?

3rd party support is pretty much gone already. Leaving Nintendo to push the console alone, which mean's game drought's, because there is no 3rd party games in between. I think Ubisoft, Capcom and Cod are the only ones left.

They still have not proved it is next gen and they still have not shown why the gamepad is "cool" or a selling point.  Maybe at 150$ but i doubt nintendo would go that low.

The $200 price was at select retailers for small amounts of time. Thats alot different than a worldwide permanent price cut.
