Thank you for you post. They are all valid point. As I simplified my original post I will use other answers to clarify my analisys.
Imagine you have a PS3 (80mi people have) why would you buy a Bravia TV if you would have to re-buy/subscribe to play the games you like? Why not to buy a cheaper Samsung or LG screen?
If you have a Vita, why buy a Xperia, and vice versa.?
