I don't think so. It might work if Sega could get their games on it exclusively (i.e. not on the other Steamboxes) but I doubt Valve would allow it, so most people would probably just buy their games for existing PCs or other steamboxes and so at that point you lose your hardware's big selling point. Maybe if something huge took off it might still be viable but I don't see it
As much as a bit of variety would be nice, Sega are better off as they are I would say. That's not to say that they're perfect though (Yakuza 5, VC3 etc.)
